Developers

For the first time, MyCyberTwin is opening up its Professional platform to developers. This will be launched in late September, with limited accounts available now.

We welcome you to open as many Professional accounts as you like on behalf of your customers, and charge them whatever you want to for chats and for the cost of building and managing a Twin.

WE WANT TO DO FOR VIRTUAL AGENT CHAT WHAT PAY-PER-CLICK DID FOR SEARCH and what Salesforce.com did for CRM software. We want to democratize artificial intelligence and let the crowd play!

We have designed our pricing (subscriptions from $25 per month) to leave lots of meat, so that you can participate in the massive growth of virtual agent technology. Most virtual agent developers are charging 25c to $1 per chat, plus tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in service fees.

A special note for very large publishers or developers:

Although we are already offering a heavily discounted solution (current market price 25c->$1/chat plus large service fees, our price a few cents per chat, plus self-manage and save service fees)….we realise that for very high volume media and apps players the margins are thinner, and that you have to have to generate more activity for less revenue.

Therefore, if you can convince us that you can achieve significant volumes for a media play or app, we would be happy to consider deals like fixed cost+revenue share. In order to consider this, we need you to show us that you have decent history and probability of success, significant reach; and that you have tried our Professional Version to get a feel for what is involved.

In other words, this is only an option for big publishers or developers in the media space. It is not for regular customer support or sales chatbots. It is not for new developers or small to mid-sized companies. If you are not big, please accept that the agressive pricing we are already giving is the most generous we can afford to be for a high-end technology like this.

Affiliates:

Affiliates are people who have the reach to promote CyberTwins to their customers or readers, but do not have the resources or inclination to deliver and support them on behalf of customers. If you introduce someone to MyCyberTwin, and they spend money with us, you receive a commission. Simple as that!

You could be an ISP, website developer, telco, software company or just anyone who just wants to sell and make money.

In principle, anybody could be an Affiliate – students, bloggers, people with a busy online social presence, even someone with a blog about their chihuaha who gets ten visitors a month.

Of course, the more volume, the more money you will make. We would love to see new companies start up and make tons of money simply by being MyCyberTwin Affiliates or Developers.

How do I become an Affiliate?

You simply become a registered MyCyberTwin Affiliate and then introduce your customers or visitors to MyCyberTwin.

You will earn money when people you refer sign up for a MyCyberTwin account and spend money on buying MyCyberTwin chat credits within their MyCyberTwin account. As an Affiliate, you will receive 25% of the money spent by people you refer.

How the Affiliate System works

  1. Register as an affiliate
  2. You will be given a link to put on your site
  3. Potential customer clicks on the link, looks around, signs up for an account
  4. When any payment is made, it is tracked against your affiliate ID and you receive 25% of the payment, which we will pass on, on an ongoing basis for as long as that customer continues to spend money on chat credits
  5. All this activity shows up in the affiliates portal you are given when you register. This allows you to see how many and which customers have signed up. You can also view how much each customer has spent, and the commission you have earned.

Can I be a Developer and an Affiliate?

Sure. Website developers will probably make the best type of Developer/Affiliates, as they are already developing websites and apps for people, and will understand the value that a CyberTwin will bring. Not only will you benefit from the chat commission, but you can also charge additional services to build and maintain a CyberTwin on behalf of someone else. We place no restriction on what you can earn.

You have two options:

Option 1: Be a Developer without being an Affiliate

With this option, simply get started right away, and open up accounts as you go along.

Build and manage: Charge customers whatever you like for building and managing the Twin.

Monthly chat fees: You can either markup fees or hand over the management of the monthly subscription to the customer.

  • Charge customers whatever you like for monthly chat subscription fees. This option carries the cost of managing the billing – making sure your customers pay you every month, and that you keep up with the subscriptions, otherwise Twins will stop chatting.
  • You can also set up the Twin and then hand over the monthly subscriptions to the customers, or get it billed to their credit card automatically.

Pros:

  • Just go for it, no initial step of becoming an Affiliate

Cons:

  • If you markup chat fees, you have to handle monthly billing and make sure you keep up chat fees.
  • Accounts are not consolidated in one reporting area.

Option 2: Be a Developer and an Affiliate

With this option, you become an Affiliate first, then open new customer accounts using your affiliate ID.

Build and manage: Charge customers whatever you like for building and managing the Twin.

Monthly chat fees: You can either markup fees, or hand over the management of the monthly subscription to the customer. Collecting money is expensive, so as an Affiliate, it is much easier to simply hand over monthly subscription maintenance to your customer and collect 25% of all chat fees.

Pros:

  • Automatically earn 25% of chat fees without having to manage payment.
  • You can see activity on all of your Twins in one place.

Cons:

  • A bit more hassle setting up as an Affiliate, and setting up each new account via your affiliate ID.

Do we have any rules?

Despite the fact that we want to democratize virtual agents, we also have a social responsibility. Although we are a platform, not a content creator, and not responsible for the content people put in their Twins, if we get reports of robots that are offensive in any way or overtly sexual or graphic in content we will close the account.

The other rule is that personal users should be personal users. If you are a developer, or are using your Twin in any way that can be considered commercial, please be honest and sign up for Professional. It is a completely different platform to Personal, so you are doing yourself a favor too.
