The ACS is the recognised association for ICT Professionals. Liesl was invited to speak at a recent ACS event for Young IT Professionals on the topic of “The future is here! Which way is IT heading”. She was part of a panel of speakers that included senior business and research leaders from Top Tier organisations. Liesl specifically shared her views from a CEO perspective of a technology organisation, provided an international perspective on the topic, and shared her experiences in obtaining venture capital and developing start-up organisations.
Lisel was an inspiring speaker and we received strongly positive feedback about Liesl from the attendees. Liesl’s advice ressonated particularly well with young entrepeneurs and individuals interested in starting their own busineses. Liesl’s engaging presentation style was well suited to the young professional audience in attendance. We would be delighted to have Liesl back to present again at future ACS events including national conferences, branch forums and further young professional events.

Liesl is an engaging and charismatic speaker with in depth knowledge on a range of subjects from entrepreneurship and business to IT, energy and finance. I had the privilege of Interviewing Liesl in front of an educated and knowledgeable audience, through which she was good-humoured yet particular and engaged the crowd with practical and pertinent information and advice. In the time we had, we only scratched the surface of Liesl’s knowledge and experience. I strongly recommend Liesl’s contribution to any speaking engagement.

2007-2008 TTI/VANGUARD
NextGens Technologies
This annual conference looked at some of the latest technology developments and concepts that may (or may not) be deployed in the next five to twenty years. Also exained were technologies that are embryonic and emergent; technologies that are ready to come to market with new capabilities; and technologies not yet mastered, though potentially powerful if they ever come to fruition.
Speculation and assessments were made on the impact of these breakthroughs on our lives and work. What should we be wary of, and what should we embrace? If disruption means opportunity, where will we find the next most-favorable prospects and advantages? Is the convergence of computing, biology, physics, and chemistry accelerating? Will computers “disappear”? Is the Information Age almost over? And if it is, what happens next? Click here
